Systems for industry and services
Monitoring the quality of the services provided
Was the agreed service actually carried out? Who, where and when — electronic evidence instead of paper books and disputes. Abroad this category of systems is called Work Force Management (WFM). Patrol rounds, cleaning, municipal work or routine maintenance in a single web overview, which also protects the worker in the field.
We use the same measurement basis from manufacturing through to building management — and you will find completed deployments directly on the page.
Was the service actually carried out? Provide the evidence.
Patrol rounds, cleaning, municipal work. Instead of a paper logbook, a record is created with the place, the time and the person — for invoicing and in a dispute.
Who it is for and what problem it solves
For anyone who provides a service under contract and needs to know — and to be able to prove — that it was carried out: municipal companies and town technical services, cleaning and facility companies, security services, servicing and inspection organisations, field teams.
A typical dispute looks like this: after a weekend event the bins are overflowing, residents complain and the town says the municipal company did not collect the waste. Without a record it is one claim against another. With a record you can show when and where the task was carried out — and the dispute ends before it begins.
How it works
- Checkpoints in the field — wireless beacons with a battery life of years, mounted with screws, adhesive or a magnet; they also work in buildings with no GPS signal. GPS positions as an alternative.
- Worker mobile app — automatic detection of the checkpoint, task reminders, the option to send a photograph, a note or an alarm message; records are also sent on after a loss of connection.
- Worker safety — fall detection and an alarm button for people working alone in the field or inside buildings.
- Web server and reports — planning of routes and shifts in a calendar, evaluation as done / partial / skipped, detailed reports — with access for your client as well.
Where monitoring is used
- Municipal work of towns and municipalities — street cleaning and tidying of public spaces, green space, mowing and maintenance of street furniture, emptying of bins and waste collection: proof of work towards the town both for residents' complaints and for invoicing. The worker has the route and the tasks on their phone, the system records the place and time of the task and a photograph can be attached to the record. - Winter maintenance of roads and pavements — the administrator is liable for damage arising from defects in road passability unless it proves that the defect could not be removed; the electronic record of the work is the basis for such proof.
- Patrol rounds of sites — for security services and in-house security: an overview of routes, checking of missed points, reports for the client. The system supplements the statutory paper records, it does not replace them.
- Cleaning and facilities — route planning and navigation, SLA reports for the client, checking of recurring tasks.
- Regular checks and inspections — periodic tasks with a record of completion (equipment checks, inspections of premises, maintenance cycles).
Field worker safety
The same phone that records the work also watches over the person doing it. The mobile application includes worker fall detection a emergency button — in the event of a fall or a press it sends an alert with the position, so the control room or the supervisor knows about the event immediately, not only when the worker fails to report in.
It concerns everyone who has people working alone: patrol rounds at night and at weekends, winter maintenance, a technician on a roof or in a shaft, cleaning in an empty building. Alongside the alert, a message, a photograph or a voice recording from the location can also be sent.
For an employer this is not only consideration for people but also evidence for obligations in occupational health and safety — and for the management system under ISO 45001, which Qintec is also certified for.
Quality assurance — one idea, several systems
Service monitoring is part of a wider family: measure, evaluate, prove. In production we call it traceability, in buildings it is asset and energy management, in the field it is monitoring of service quality. It all runs on the same basis — data acquisition from devices and sensors and web-based evaluation with no licence limits.
Patrol round with an on-site record
The worker confirms the task where it was carried out. The records produce both a report for the client and an overview for the dispatcher — with no re-keying.
Completed deployments
- Online patrol round system — beacons, a mobile application and a web interface with reports and access for the end customer; in operation at service providers.
- Planning and navigation of cleaning routes — a mobile app with navigation and records of work done for cleaning teams.
- Municipal services company of a regional capital — records of the work carried out in the scope agreed with the town: watering green spaces, emptying bins and road maintenance. The worker has the tasks and the route on a tablet, and the record of completion serves as evidence for the client.
